Steve and Diane Freeling,are a married couple with three children,who suffer frightening situations. The first to see this rare phenomena is the little daugther, Carol-anne. Then the story beggin when Carol-anne low to the diningroom and she moves closer to the TV screen .Is in this moment is when she feels the presence of a mysterious force, behind the tv screen, until mysteriously she disappears. The family ,very sad, beggin to be concerned in seeking of experts of ghosts , to help find her little daughter.Finally they discovered, that his house was built over the tombs of a cemetery, and that was why it all happened. For lucky the little girl never remembered what happened.This is a film quite old and with many myths, especially on the death of the main character, but I like a lot.
